FAQ
奨学金 — Frequently Asked Questions
3 answered questions about 奨学金, each with the source it was built from and the authority to confirm it with.
Are scholarships available for studying in Jordan?
奨学金, grants and fee discounts may be available from governments, universities and other organisations, subject to eligibility and funding. Availability depends on nationality, degree level, field, institution and funding source, and changes year to year. This portal's scholarship database records what could be verified from official sources, with a last-verified date on every entry — never assume a scheme is open until the current official call confirms it.
Can international students receive scholarships in Jordan?
Some scholarship and funding opportunities are available to international students, but availability depends on nationality, programme, institution and funding source. Many schemes are restricted by bilateral agreement or by specific country eligibility, so check the eligibility rules before investing time in an application.
How do I avoid relying on an expired or non-existent scholarship?
Check three things: the current official call for applications on the institution's or funder's own page, the deadline for the current cycle, and whether the eligibility rules match you. A scholarship that ran last year is not evidence it is running this year. This portal marks scholarships whose current status could not be confirmed rather than presenting them as available.
Sources & verification
Priority order: official Jordanian government authorities → official institution websites → accreditation organisations → official ranking organisations → Visit Jordan → other reliable sources. Claims that could not be verified from these are marked as unverified rather than presented as fact.
