Sources & Verification Policy
The verification standard behind every profile and guide on this site.
What ‘verified’ means here
A fact is treated as verified when it can be confirmed from one of the priority sources and the confirmation is current at the time of review. The last-verified date on a page records when that review happened.
What is deliberately not published
- 授業料 and fees — unless confirmed from the institution’s own current schedule, a profile states the position rather than a number. Fee schedules change annually and per programme, cohort and nationality.
- 出願締切 — stated as the pattern they follow, not as a fixed date.
- Programme-level accreditation — described as something to verify with the accreditation authority, because it changes and is programme-specific.
- Rankings — quoted only with the provider and the edition, because positions change annually and differ between providers.
Unverified records
Institution records whose official site or details could not be confirmed are marked ‘Unverified’ in the directory and flagged on the profile. They remain listed so the record can be corrected rather than silently dropped.
Maps and coordinates
Maps are provided for orientation using approximate coordinates. They are not a statement of an institution’s exact campus location.
Structured data
Schema.org markup is emitted only where it is accurate and eligible: Organization, WebSite, BreadcrumbList, EducationalOrganization, Article and FAQPage. Structured data is not used to claim ratings, reviews or properties that do not exist.
