Humanities, social sciences, education, law and arts programmes in Jordan.
In short
5 institutions in this directory publish faculty provision in this field. This is a list of representation, not a ranking. For regulated professions the decisive factors are the accreditation status of the specific programme, the quality and availability of clinical or laboratory training, and whether the qualification is recognised by the licensing authority in the country where you intend to work.
No institution is described here as universally "the best". Each list states the criteria behind it, and the right choice depends on the student's objective. Criteria applied:
الجامعة الأردنية
Frequently the first name raised for applicants weighing breadth of programme choice, research volume and the availability of a very wide postgraduate portfolio. Its size is also its trade-o…
جامعة اليرموك
A strong candidate when the objective is humanities, education, Arabic language or a research-oriented arts degree, and one of the most established destinations for learners who want univers…
الجامعة الهاشمية
Worth considering for health sciences and engineering where the applicant wants a public university outside Amman and a lower day-to-day cost of living, at the price of a less central locati…
جامعة آل البيت
A focused choice for Islamic studies, Sharia and Arabic-language degree work. The location is a genuine consideration: Mafraq is far from Amman and has limited student amenities.…
الكلية الجامعية الوطنية للتكنولوجيا
A newer technical college focused on practical technology education and employability. It is relevant to applicants who want a shorter, applied route into technical fields.…
For this field, confirming programme accreditation is not optional. Check the programme's status with the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission, confirm the clinical or laboratory training arrangements with the department, and — if you intend to practise outside Jordan — check the destination regulator's requirements. None of this is recoverable after graduation.
Priority order: official Jordanian government authorities → official institution websites → accreditation organisations → official ranking organisations → Visit Jordan → other reliable sources. Claims that could not be verified from these are marked as unverified rather than presented as fact.
